Sounds easy as it may seem, but we are talking of insects with around more than 3,000 species. Ideas on how to do it is by simply spraying them by grabbing a canister of pesticide and distribute it to every homes for FREE.
Or by installing insecticide sprayer to an Antonov or Boeing aircraft flying round the clock will do the job.
The costly operation may be reasonable in comparison to the medical expenses down to the loss of lives each year.
But let’s face it; it’s unrealistic because there is no single chemical that will single out mosquitoes without killing others we consider as beneficial. Unpredictable danger it would bring to the environment, which may cause a boomerang effect.
And if we can actually be successful doing it, one thing we have to consider is that exterminating them could leave predators without a prey. Killing mosquitoes will affect the food chain of fish, birds and reptiles. They play major part in our ecosystem, no any single species is insignificant that we should eliminate. As this species survived in the evolution designed for the survival of the entire living species on earth.
